About the Book

'Dying Was Easy' is a compelling mix of mystery, medical drama, and action, introducing readers to Zachary Zander (“ZZ”), a sharp-witted emergency physician with an unapologetically sarcastic streak. As a man who thrives on adrenaline, ZZ splits his time between the fast-paced chaos of the ER and the electrifying world of harness racing action. But when his family’s farm and the special-needs school his mother built are threatened with foreclosure, ZZ finds himself drawn back to his roots, facing battles he never anticipated.

What starts as an effort to save the family’s legacy becomes something far more dangerous. Someone is determined to ruin his career and everything he holds dear. To fight back, ZZ will have to navigate high-stakes challenges in the ER, on the racetrack, and in the courtroom. Along the way, he discovers the true value of the support of friends and family as he learns the hard lessons of loyalty, resilience, and redemption.
